Eric Church never disappoints
This was my 9th time seeing the Chief so I know not to expect him to start until ~9pm. If it ever angers me, after he starts performing he's immediately forgiven. He plays for 3+ hours with no opening act, no intermission and electrifying energy. When I heard Joanna Cotton was out for this show, I was incredibly disappointed, but I knew he'd have a surprise in store for his fans. Enter Ashley McBryde which was a lovely treat. Eric has such a plethora of discography to choose from that it's impossible for him to perform all the songs fans want to hear. Still, he played a well-balanced mix of songs from across all his records. Attending an Eric Church concert is like a spiritual experience. It stirs up all kinds of emotions. For a brief period of time, the rest of the world is on hold and we are all equal as we’re immersed in the greatness of his music. I’d never been obsessed with any music until I discovered the Chief. Now, I am a super-fan who’s already anxious for the next tour!
